Betsy

Standing, two-tiered skirt, hands in front, bonnet. Betsy was one of the original pieces in the “Gibson Girl” series and is known to exist in at least three different variations, each one having a slightly different hat. Earliest garage-era pieces have very rough lace and heavy gold trim. Those are identified by the words “Florence Figures” written on the base. All early Betsy figures were made in white.
