Gibson Girls

Inventory Code: N/A

Size: 10 to 11″

Large standing figures based on designs of Charles Dana Gibson. There are at least eight different Gibson Girl designs and more are being discovered all the time. The primary differences are the dress style, positioning of hands, and differences in hats. Names of individual pieces are currently unknown as are the details as to original pricing. Some pieces manufactured during 1946-1948 have been found with inventory codes while others from the Garage Era have the early “Florence Figures” logo written in script. Because of the differences in design and general scarcity, book pricing is difficult to consolidate. In general, the average Gibson Girl in good condition regularly sells for between $300 and $500 each. All found to date have been in white with gold trim.
